Tokyo Down Parka is a voluminous and very warm winter parka, with a thigh-length cut and an adjustable waist drawcord. Designed and developed with an uncompromising approach to quality. Premium technical standard meets urban elegance. The Korean outer fabric is a refined, lightweight and down-proof 20 Denier nylon of exceptional quality. Laminated with a membrane on the reverse side—rather than the more common coating—at only 40 grams per square meter in total. With 230 threads per inch, the fabric has a dense and even structure that creates a sophisticated, dry surface. – Note the characteristic crisp sound when touched and the nearly weightless sensation when worn. For the trained eye: the matte surface finish on such a fine weave creates a uniquely exclusive expression in the way light and shadow fall across seams and folds. In addition to the luxurious tactile experience, the construction provides excellent ventilation and effective moisture protection, while keeping the down in place and minimizing feather leakage. The parka has a classic layout with two spacious front pockets and discreet side-entry hand warmer pockets. The hood is large and well-insulated, with a soft and lofty inner collar for extra warmth around the neck. Generous down fill – a blend of recycled goose and duck down, carefully filtered and sorted to meet high standards of sustainability and performance. The design is completed with discreet SWIMS branding, a high level of detailing and precision seam work. This is no ordinary mass production.
