The Shiga Down Jacket is a voluminous and highly insulating winter jacket with a hemline that hits just below the seat, slightly shorter in front than in back. Note the curved side seam and how the pocket flap is seamlessly integrated into the seam. Designed and developed with an uncompromising approach to quality. Premium technical level meets urban elegance. The outer fabric is a refined, lightweight and down-proof 20 denier Korean nylon of the highest grade. Laminated with a membrane on the reverse side—rather than the more common coating—at only 40 grams per square meter in total. With 230 threads per inch, the fabric has a dense and even structure that creates a sophisticated dry surface. – Notice the distinct crisp sound when touched and the nearly weightless feel when you put the jacket on. For the observant eye: the matte surface finish on such a fine weave creates a unique and exclusive look through the way light and shadow play in seams and folds. In addition to the luxurious tactile feel, the construction offers excellent breathability and effective moisture protection while holding the down in place and minimizing feather leakage. The jacket has a classic layout with two large front cargo pockets and discreet hand-warmer pockets along the side seams. The hood is large and well-insulated, featuring a soft inner collar that adds comfort and warmth around the neck. Generous down fill – a blend of recycled goose and duck down, carefully filtered and sorted to meet our standards for sustainability and performance. The design is finished with discreet SWIMS branding, a high level of detail, and precision-crafted seams. This is far from basic mass production.
