Nagano Down Parka – Classic, light, airy and warm down parka Nagano Down Parka is a three-quarter length, voluminous and extremely warm winter parka, designed and developed with an uncompromising approach to quality. Premium technical level, classic urban style. The Korean outer fabric is a refined, lightweight and down-proof 20 Denier nylon of the highest quality. It is laminated with a membrane on the inside, rather than coated, as is more common – weighing only 40 grams per square meter in total. With no less than 230 threads per inch, the fabric has a tight and even weave that gives it a sophisticated dry surface. – note the distinctive, crisp sound when touched and the nearly weightless sensation when putting on the jacket. For those with a keen and trained eye: the matte finish on such a finely woven fabric creates a unique and exclusive play of light and shadow across seams and folds. In addition to the luxurious tactile experience, the construction provides excellent ventilation and effective moisture protection, while also keeping the down in place with minimal feather leakage. The parka has a classic layout with chest pockets for hand-warming and two spacious storage pockets on the front. The hood is large, well-insulated and detachable. Filled generously with a recycled mix of goose and duck down, carefully filtered and sorted to meet our standards for both sustainability and performance. The design is executed with discrete SWIMS branding, a high level of detailing and tailoring done with high precision. This is not simple mass production.
