SWIMS - Torino Waterproof Field Jacket - Warm Sand - Str: XXL - Herre

A Field Jacket is a timeless classic, characterized by four front pockets and a hood hidden in the collar. Originally developed for military use, the garment has over decades become a permanent fixture in fashion. More tailored versions draw inspiration from officers’ jackets, while other interpretations offer a more relaxed and casual fit. In Northern Italy, the field jacket was early adopted as part of the urban wardrobe and is today worn just as naturally with polished leather shoes and a blazer as with college sweaters and sneakers. Torino Field Jacket is designed for year-round use, on rainy days in the city, for everyday wear, and for light outdoor activities, with or without insulating layers underneath. The garment is constructed with a 2-layer waterproof and windproof outer fabric and a separate inner lining. The laminated membrane offers excellent breathability, making the jacket comfortable even when full rain protection is not required. All seams are taped, and the construction is 100% waterproof. The outer fabric is a fully matte and soft 1:1 plain-woven polyester with mechanical stretch, entirely without elastane. This gives the jacket a natural drape and a refined appearance that clearly distinguishes it from traditional rainwear. The design is executed in every detail and finished with discreet and sophisticated SWIMS branding. About the name: Torino, like many cities in Northern Italy, is known for its confident and fashion-conscious culture. The city was early to embrace style icons such as the field jacket, and Italian men are renowned for their ability to combine casual classics with more formal attire in a creative and personal way.
