Moki's detailed acrylic paintings blur the lines between fiction and reality, creating a cosmos that embodies a longing for symbiosis with nature. To be like water¿without form and able to adapt to all circumstances¿is the ideal of moki. In her paintings the Berlin-based meanders between timeless escapism and a confrontation with the pressing themes of our time. Blurring fiction and reality in her detailed acrylic paintings, she explores the shades of color spaces in a green-blue spectrum like a researcher and creates her own cosmos in which a longing for symbiosis with nature becomes visible. Complemented by texts by Lina Lindqvist, Merlin Sheldrake, Bus126, Anderas Weber, Dogen, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Walter Benjamin, Zhuangzi and an interview by Marianna Andrly with the artist, M¿NDER presents moki¿s painterly works from 2014 to 2023.
