<b>This volume makes visible the many innovative resistances and solutions emanating from the Global South, in response to the injustices of the current global ecological crises.</b> Rooted in contemporary ecological imperialism, these crises are subjecting marginalized communities in the Global South to the worst socio-ecological repercussions worldwide, whilst mainstream environmental policies and solutions reproduce market-based approaches premised on a hegemonic Western world-view.
