The PARCO department store was closed for renovation, and Katsuhiro Otomo and collage artist Kosuke Kawamura seized on the opportunity to stretch Otomo''s landmark manga <i>AKIRA</i> across the barriers separating the construction site from the bustling nightlife of Shibuya, <i>Tokyo</i>.
